So here’s the deal:  I’m a Memphian transplanted in Nashville (by choice) and loving every second of it.  Graduated from Vanderbilt in 2008 and started teaching immediately after.  My life mostly revolves around my friends, family, students, work, music, food, and sports.

It’s much simpler than it sounds, yet so complicated all at the same time.

Here, you’ll find a collection of stories from my job(s) as a teacher and in retail.  And I couldn’t do this without including some of my favorite music and sports teams.  It just wouldn’t be right.  The kids, the sports, and the music are what keep my little heart beating.
